Cabarete Bay on a busy summer day! This beach town is a well known windsurfing and kiteboard travel destination in the Caribbean. It is located on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, about a 20 minute taxi ride east of Puerto Plata airport.
This picture was taken from the highest mountain in the Caribbean; Pico Duarte, at over 3000 meters or 10'000 feet it's a respectable peak! You are looking west over the Central mountains of the Dominican Republic.
