Who am I?Photography has been a passion for me for over 30 years. I currently live in the Caribbean, on the north coast of the Dominican Republic in a small resort town called Cabarete. It is one of the top 10 destinations for water-sports enthusiasts in the world. I love to do water-sports photography! Living in a small but thriving and growing town you have to wear many hats. Therefore I have been taking architectural images in the community for years, new construction projects, hotels, private residences and a bit wile traveling. Architectural photography represents a fair share of my revenue generating projects. Aerial photography is often a part of documenting a piece of property or a hotel complex. In recent times human interest stories/ images have become more prominent on my photographic horizon. Since it's creation I covered various photography aspects for the Dominican Republic Education and Mentoring Project or in short the DREAM Project: Last but not least travel photography: I cannot go anywhere without a camera. Initially I did it just for fun, but nowadays I try to mix work and fun. My stock images include places all over the world. Some of these images relate to windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing and surfing in exotic locations like South Africa, Brazil, Aruba, Bonaire, Margarita, The Columbia River Gorge, Hawaii and Baja California. Alamy started in 1999, they are the largest and most comprehensive online collection of commercial photography worldwide. My 5 cents worth...To me photography is a lifestyle. It's a way, a means of really seeing things. The camera becomes an extension of my senses, a tool to express myself. Our breed is chasing magical light, a place, people, a mood, moments in time to be captured. It's our way to share and express a personal view of the world. I love capturing images, framing a slice of time in this world. I will continue to explore new aspects of photography. It's a magical journey moving forward, knowing that ideas for new images appear as new opportunities present them self!
