Test-Shooting with Michelle…

A few days ago I had the chance to test my recently acquired Fuji XT-2 in a ‘Environmental’ Environmental Portrait shooting with MichellePortrait session. I was curious to see, how the camera would respond and feel during the actual shooting and I wanted to see the quality and the dynamic range the final images would display.

I had scouted to location on a couple of outings before and so I hoped for great evening light. Well, see for yourself how the images turned out. Verdict: the camera is a joy to use for portrait shooting. The image quality is very good…

I used the Fujinon 56mm f/1.2, the 35mm f/1.4 and the 14mm f/2.8 for all images…

For illumination I used a canon 580 EX-2 with a Cactus trigger attached in a Westcott 24” Octa Rapid Box.

The black and white images were edited with Silver Efex-Pro 2
